Update from the Patrons Group

Many thanks to all BBC members who recently attended the breakfast meeting in the Brockville Bar, and listened to a short talk about the Patrons’ Group.

The Patrons’ Group is a group of Falkirk fans dedicated to rebuilding a successful, sustainable football club by promoting fan ownership and democratic governance. This manifests in three key ways:

1. Investing in the club via share purchase, with the goal of holding at least 26% of total shares in order to safeguard the club.
2. Supporting Falkirk Supporters’ Society to ensure that small shareholders always have a strong say in how the club is run.
3. Participating, via elected representatives, on the FFC Board to ensure a culture of collaboration, consensus and transparency.

They currently have 25 members, collectively holding around 1 million shares in Falkirk FC, and will shortly be making further investment. They are open to and are actively looking for new members.
